Description/Responsibilities

Team Check-In: Welcome teams, assist the Lead Team Check-In Clerks to hand out materials. Collect Engineering Notebooks and Consent Forms. Answer basic questions.

Volunteer Check-In: Welcome volunteers, assist the Lead Volunteer Check-in Clerks to hand out materials, collect Consent Forms, and direct volunteers to appropriate locations when needed. Answer basic questions.

Some roles may include completing check-in process on computer and verify information

Experience and Skills Needed

  • No experience required
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective Communicator
  • Standing long period of times possible (accommodations can be made)
  • Comfortable using a computer when needed

Physical Activity Mix of sitting and walking throughout the day.

Training Before Event Read the Overview and the Check-In Process document (if applicable). Familiarize self with the venue map and event schedule.

Dress Code Wear volunteer t-shirt if provided; otherwise, polo-style shirts with nice jeans or long pants are preferred. Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.
