Description/Responsibilities

Team Check-In: Welcome teams, assist the Lead Team Check-In Clerks to hand out materials. Collect Engineering Notebooks and Consent Forms. Answer basic questions.

Volunteer Check-In: Welcome volunteers, assist the Lead Volunteer Check-in Clerks to hand out materials, collect Consent Forms, and direct volunteers to appropriate locations when needed. Answer basic questions.

Judge Check-In: Welcome Judges. Check in judges on computer and verify schedule, hand out materials, direct judges to appropriate locations and who to report to. Answer basic questions.

Some roles may include completing check-in process on computer and verify information

Experience and Skills Needed

  • No experience required
  • Pay attention to detail
  • Communicate effectively
  • Comfortable on your feet.
  • Comfortable using a computer when needed

Physical Activity
Mix of sitting and walking throughout the day.

Training Before Event
Read the Overview and the Check-In Process document. Get familiar with the venue map and event schedule so you can answer basic questions.

Dress Code Wear volunteer t-shirt if provided; otherwise, polo-style shirts with nice jeans or long pants are preferred. Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.
