Interpreter (Worlds Only)

Description/Responsibilities Support event staff and teams with communication in designated language. Respond to calls for Interpreters needed in designated areas (you may be wearing a radio with headset). Be available at all times during volunteer shift.

• No experience needed
• Ability to speak English and designated language
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Comfortable translating for teams
• Comfortable using a headset and radio

Physical Activity Standing or walking sporadically over time.

Training Before Event Review this Overview document. On-site training on how to use your headset and radio will be provided by event staff.

Dress Code Wear provided Interpreter attire. Wear volunteer t-shirt if provided; otherwise, polo-style shirts with nice jeans or long pants are preferred. Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.
